Sanskrit Students from 9th to PHD will get a Scholarship of Rs. 5000-25000/Year

It is a great initiative of Rastriya Sanskrit Sansthan to Encourage Students to choose Sanskrit as Language in their Academic Degrees. Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan was established on 15th October, 1970 as an autonomous organization for the purpose of implementing the policies and programmes of the Central Government to promote Sanskrit . The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India has declared it as Deemed University on 7th May, 2002 and the National Accreditation and Assessment Council (NAAC) has placed this university under the category ‘A’ which is the highest rank to be awarded to educational institutions by the NAAC

Who can Apply for Scholarship

Students of 9th and 10th class having Sanskrit as a Language Subject or if you are pursuing Sanskrit Honors Course like Prajna/Purva Madhyama 1st year and 2nd year ( which is treated as equivalent to 9th & 10th class respectively) you can apply for this scholarship online. students upto 10th or Madhyama will get upto Rs.5000/- Scholarship every year. Basic condition is to score minimum 60% in the Class 9th .

Students of Senior Secondary or Vishard/Uttar Madhyama can apply for the Scholarship from the Rastriya Sanskrit Sansthan for 6000/- Per year. General Student have to score minimum 60% to be eligible for this scholarship , while Students who belong to SC category can apply with a minimum 50% ,and for OBC it is 55% to apply scholarship online.

Graduation Students of Sanskrit Honors/Shastri will get priority and they are eligible to get a scholarship of 8000/- every year in their graduation . eligibility conditions are same as in above paragraph . for general students 60%, OBC -55%, and for SC/ST 50% to apply for this scholarship.

While Students of Acharya and other Post graduation programs will get 10000/- per year.

and PHD ,Doctorate will be eligible to get a scholarship of 25000/- Per year.
